Christmas DVD-A recommendation

Chip Davis has done a wonderful job of remixing these Mannheim Steamroller songs for surround sound, and it's a great way to experience the wonders of a the Lexicon DVD-A system while hearing some very entertaining holiday music.

+1.....my favourite time of year is Christmas.......although like those folks in the frosty returns animated feature: Ooooh I could live without snow!

This album is quite good....just picked up the Glee Christmas and it is also quite good.....a solid mix of contempory and traditional.....and since O Holy night is my wife's most cherished Christmas song it garnered me a few hubby points.

And I should stress that this is a true DVD-Audio disc, with state of the art high-res surround sound. With DVD-A discs getting harder and harder to find and sometimes commanding prices in the triple digits, the chance to get a high-res 5.1 DVD-A for less than twelve bucks is amazing.

And if you've heard these songs in standard CD format, you're in for a real treat; you'll hear musical bits that you've never heard before once you listen to the DVD-A version.
