  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anybody installed the chrome fender trim kit for the Genesis Sedan ? If so,are there any issues regarding installation? This kit is available through Korean imports a.k.a. Sherwood industries U.S.A.This seems to be a nice touch.

It would be a nice touch if we were in the 80's. Are you serious?

lulz, bri.

Any pics of what you have in mind, Mike? Like actually on a Genny? I'm curious.

After I first bought my Genesis, in a fit of temporary insanity I put on a set of chrome B pillar covers. I should have stuck them on with masking tape first and taken a good long look. As it was, after I had stuck them on the car looked like some old geezer's Buick or Town Car or something (I'm old myself, but deny geezerhood). I took them off, which messed up the pillar surface, so I had to get some black covers to hide that damage.

For me, the Genesis does not need one square inch of additional chrome. In fact, MotorSportsAuthority is developing a fully painted grill, which I think I'll buy if the final product looks good.

Hmm... Doesn't look like from the 80's to me, but not really compelling either. Best of luck if you go ahead with the installation, though!
