Hello family
I recently inherited/repoed from soon to be ex wife an amazing piece of Korean engineering.
Immediately upon takeover I noticed low beams and fog lights are not working. Electrical Hyundai glitch or what? $$$?
Some of the steering wheel controls are not working as well including horn so I figured it must be a common Hyundai problem with clock spring. $$$?
When I start engine it's loud for a second and then everything goes to normal. Runs and pulls as it should. Somebody said earlier that it's a timing chain tensioner. Can I replace just the tensioner? However I got 2 engine codes. 1st for engine timing advance and 2nd for O2 sensor. Easy fixes? Yay or nay? Right after I got the car I changed the oil and check engine codes cleared for about 24 hours but then came back. I really like the car and would like to keep it bc it's like a jet but also would like to fix everything on it.
Car is located in Chicago - so if anybody is from the area would like to know where to take it for repairs etc etc
