  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

All of a sudden,, I cannot set the time on the clock. I have tried with the car running, not running, ACC, etc, I cannot change the time. The time is showing but cannot be set to the correct time. I have used everything to push in the buttons, but nothing. Any help ?

You have posted about several problems with your car. Has it dawned on you yet that they are all likely related? Suggest you make a list of them and have your dealer sort it out.

My apologies Ernie, my oops on the clock thing was my mistake, in that, I had not pushed the buttons all the way in, and having done that now, I feel a little sheepish on the question I posed <G>

The only other problem, that I am still trying to figure out is the trunk lid opening by itself.

There are five ways to open the trunk. Check and make sure no one is opening it in error.

I know of three, the fox, switch in glove box, button under trunk lid, what/where are the other two ?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Key, driver door button, button on trunk lid, fob, inside the trunk release. switch in glovebox turns off the auto trunk for valet use.

Cool......... never knew about the one in the glove box..... I'll have to hunt it down!!

Don't forget Yehudi (he's also the little guy in the fridge who turns off the light when you close the door, at least that's what my mother-in-law told me years ago).

Further: on 2/11 at 4:45PM the alarm went off. Car had been parked in the garage since morning. Just now 2/13 11:00PM alarm went off again, I am making an assumption that the trunk and the alarm are somehow connected to the problem. Any idea folks. The key fob was on my desk.

One fob on the desk. Where was the other fob?
