Cold weather -- no audio?

Two days in a row I've left my semi-heated garage in the morning and parked outside at work in single digit weather. Both times, when I got in the car at lunch, there was no audio, though the head unit acts like it's playing radio/cd/etc. also no proximity beeps. Normal the next morning after sitting in the garage. No error messages.

I don't think I noticed that button, lol. Just tried turning it off and on, switching inputs, etc.
