I have had some really bad mornings with this car over the last 2 years. I am a journeyman tech. I have tried everything to fix this problem. Only in cold weather -30 celcius or worse. I have the car plugged in at home. Starts no issues. I drive 2km to work, As soon as i turn it off it refuses to crank although I just drove it 2km. I assume there is some cold weather protection sensor that does not allow the car to crank. Not a battery problem or charging issue. Is there a way to force the car to crank without the use of a diag tool? It just about left me stranded at a gas station in -40 after driving it after it sat for 10 minutes and got colder it cranked and started up no problem without a boost.
