I have the MyKey Premium installed in my G70 for remote starting and a proximity lock/unlock of the doors. I'm very happy with it. It's a bit pricey but it always works and took about 20 minutes to install. I don't use any of the other Genesis Connected Services because I get most of it through Android Auto.

I do not care to start nearby with fob, I care about starting using smartphone anywhere in USA or world.

I installed the MyKey Premium on my 2017 Genesis G80 3.8 sedan in Oct. 2023. I love everything about it (remote start, connection, connection to Android Auto and the proximity lock & unlock). If you come close to driverside door, mirrors open and driverside door-only opens. Same with passenger side, except passenger entry opens all 4 four doors as EOM standard does. After the doors & trunk are closed, 10 seconds later, MyKeyPremium will lock everything & fold the mirrors. Also, there’s no connection monthly fees or navigation fees. I also think the Android Auto has a much better Navigation system than the one provided by Genesis.

The only thing that freaks my wife out is when I remote start the car from 40-50th feet (behind other cars) and one of the mirrors (mainly driverside) will not unfold. Lol… I just unlock & lock the doors (if outside of the car) with the remote or if I’m in the car and forgot to check the mirrors, I have the wife toggle (press) the “Auto” mirror switch off & on and that unfolds the mirror. At first, I thought it was the gears in the mirror being stripped, but the mirror still opens & closes fine. I also replaced the battery in the key fob and once had to replace the car battery, still it didn’t fix the problem. I’m thinking it may be the signal not being strong enough from the MyKey Premium to the devices. Will have to contact MyKey Premium for answers.
