I've been a member (no dues) for several years. I was invited to join, but I understand Hyundai is currently soliciting for new members. Not certain about the procedure to join. Hope someone on the Forum can explain the membership procedure.
Membership is at no cost and does not require participation in surveys. It does provide a forum for Hyundai news, though most of the news seems first reported here. It also provides a forum for complaints and comments.
Most important, membership qualifies one for the "Hyundai Inner Circle", which gives one access to special pricing. Each month a special CID number is issued to member of the Think Tank. This CID number is the entry code. Using the code you search for the vehicle, trim and color you want. Dealers' inventories of that vehicle are set forth with Hyundai Inner Circle price. For instance, in my case my 2013 loaded V6 MSRP was $44,480. My Inner Circle price was $40,134.45 (note, car has all the usual accessories including mud flaps). Most important, this price does not include the usual special Hyundai discounts for college grad, military retiree and previous owner, which in my particular case lowered the price a further $2000 to $38,134.45 net.
