  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Group,

My controller dial (right above the gear shift knob) is sometimes sticking in the down position. I assume I spilled something on it maybe? Is there an easy to disassemble this to clean it so it doesn't stick? I tried calling a service tech with Genesis and they were clueless. And generally thought they would have remove the entire unit from the consol. Surely this is going to be a somewhat normal issue. Someone have an easy fix for me?

Thanks in advance!

What car, year, and trim do you have? Might help others help you.

Thanks Tinsley, I thought was obvious as that info is under your Member Name.

I do 99% of my forum reading on my cell phone, and when I read your messages and click your profile, I don't see your car info. Just found out though by clicking through your profile. Sorry. Learn something new every day.

If you touch the person's name, then again, there's a line where you can scroll to the right and choose About. Car info listed there (if filled out).
