Convertible Baby Seat

Is anyone rocking a convertible car seat in the back of the G70? I decided to retire our Graco Clickconnect for our large 7-month old baby in favor of a Chico Nextfit Zip convertible. Anyway, this thing is HUGE! I'm charitably 5'8" and while I can still technically fit in the passenger seat, it would not be ideal for long trips, and I'm sure my wife would feel the same. Do they make smaller convertible seats or are they all behemoths?

Convertible seats are definitely monsters compared to toddler forward facing seats. Stick that guy in the middle for a bit more room if you only have 1 kiddo, or put it behind the driver's side if you have 2.
