I picked up a 3.8 genesis thats giving me some coolant issues i seen it was leaking i had someone come look at it and they said its the temperature control unit
So i went and got one along with a thermostat, intake gasket, and a cross over coolant pipe kit the water pump is new no leaks in radiator the fans kicked out when It started over heating no white smoke or milky oil i did a pressure test head gaskets are good and its leaking from the thermostat area i took everything out of my way on the left side of the engine bay so what im asking is what should I be replacing while im replacing the coolant control unit with all this shit open and what eles do I need to remove to be able to pull the temperature control unit should I replace the thermostat housing also im just trying to find some direction along with some advice on how I should do this
