The Costco Auto Program is offering a sweet deal on Hyundai autos. I'll pay cash for the 3.8 Genesis. Anyone found a better price than the $31,740 base price Costco is quoting? I'm in Southern California.

I thought the Genesis promotion through Costco ended on May 31, but it looks like they extended it.

The $31,740 number on the Costco page is not the price you get, that's their calculated invoice price, from which you should subtract the additional discounts. Here's the price calculation:

* Dealer Net Invoice ($31,740)
* Less 3% of Net MSRP
* Less Current Consumer Rebates (if any)
* Less $250 (Plan A Hyundai Circle Bonus)
* Plus Destination (Freight) and Advertising Fees

The "Less Current Consumer Rebates (if any)" may vary by region. When I bought mine last month this was good for an additional $1500 off, which put the purchase price for my 4.8 w/Tech right at 38K.

Try overstock.com. They have an auto buying program. Right now they list the base Genesis 3.8 for $30,478 in my area.
