Well I have been tracking this site since before the Genesis was launched in 2008. Wanted one from the start, but wanted to watch how this car was accepted. So last week, we took the plunge and bought ours, a 4.6 Tech
Lets just say WOW! Love it. Platinum with black interior, and badged.

Would like to ask one question, does anyone know how you can cancel the annoying accept screen that comes up on start up?

Welcome!! Yours is identical to ours - you obviously have impeccable taste.

I don't know of any way to cancel the "Accept" screen other than getting in the habit of slapping down on the DIS knob just after the screen appears. It becomes a habit pretty quickly. If anyone else has any ideas I'd love to hear them. Enjoy!!

Me too - I had a black Genesis as my desktop background for a year before I purchased, but I didn't find this site until afterward. Re the nag screen - I don't know about the Tech version, but on non-tech with Nav if you have a non-nav screen displayed (playing audio) when you turn the ignition off, the next time you start the car the audio screen displays as soon as the H Genesis splash screen goes away. I hardly ever see the nag screen because I hardly ever use Nav (I've used it once since I got the car).

I also had this screen on my 07 Lexus GS350. When I bought my first DVD software update, they had removed it. Maybe the next one for the Genesis will remove the screen as well.
