  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I called the Service Department of my Stealership and they said I had a recall for a "Cowl Cover". He couldn't provide and details but said it was linked to my VIN.

The only thing helpful I could find via Search was the post below, but it diidn't provide a lot of details. Anyone heard of this?

Got mine installed the other day. not even sure what it is. I never open the hood of these cars anymore. Really no need to since all of the service is done by Hyundai.

I had my car in for the 15K check and they told me about the recall. There was also a cover under the dash that needed to be ordered and put on. I have no idea what either was for, but they overnighted the parts and kept the car over night. They supplied me with a rental car. Fine with me.

Te dealer didn't know why the cowl cover was replaced, but dud say the cover was not a replacement, but an original part that covers some connector under the dash.

The one under the dash might be the issue with the direction of air flow which is lacking in the footwells.

Can anyone supply the TSB number related to this?
