If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just traded in my Mercedes for a 2011 Equus that was offered at $479, $0 down 36 mo 12k miles. I'll report back on my experience when I take delivery later today

How much did they apply as the value of the trade in? This is the "downpayment".

I'm intersted to know how this deal goes.

Yeah I know how leases work. As I said $0 down. I am receiving a check for my trade in, not applied to lease. They wanted to clear the 2011 and you needed to qualify for tier 1 credit and have competitive trade-in (mercedes, BMW, etc). My purpose for noting this is that other dealers may be offering similar aggressive discounts.

While it sounds too good to be true, congratulations on a fantastic deal. Also, a pretty nice car. Hope it works out.

Congrats on a great deal. My local dealer is $ 739 and $4K down for 12K mile on a 36 month lease. What state are you in and what is the dealer?
I currently own an 09 Genesis purchased from this dealer.

I'm in Michigan. They had a 2011 Ultimate that was also marked way down when I took delivery of mine

Now I need that Ipad to show up as I am having a hard time navigating all these electronics

Funny, never thought to look. Sure enough there is ! LOL

$739 per month, $0 down, It can't go any lower than this.

But it did on the 2011 !

Since you're no stranger to leasing, you realize his monthly is based on MSRP or close to it. For you to get that monthly with zero down indicates you're really driving a Genesis and they fooled you OR you got a better deal than anyone here. What was the price on which your monthlies are based? In a lease that's the only figure that matters and I don't recall you mentioning it.

I wish leasing was that simple. MSRP doesn't really enter the picture at all. The 3 factors that determine your monthly payment are the negotiated selling price, the money factor or interest rate and the residual.

I thought I had made a good deal on my 2011 Equus lease but it is no where as good as the $479 Mercedes Owner claims.

Enough said... Last post on this topioc. I was just offering a helpful post that other dealers may be offering similar deals. Sorry you paid MSRP. Here in MI nobody pays MSRP for cars. I might add they gave me $500 more for my Mercedes than the MB dealer offered. https://sites.google.com/site/zuma3333/

congrats, that's a crazy deal. i am paying $596/month for my 2012 genesis 4.6 and i thought i had a good deal (15K mi, 36 monhs, $0 down)

Sorry, there is no way anyone leased an Equus for $0 down and $479/mo. Why people post B.S. like that is beyond me. He will argue he did but even the dumbest dealer on the planet would not do that. The Equus sells well enough to at least get cost out of it and $0 down with $479 for 36 months is not getting cost. Must be Obama math...

It says that the total monthly payment is $508.78 including taxes.

What is the $7,750.00 in capitalized cost reduction? The form says it can be trade-in allowance, rebate, cash down payment, non-cash credit, etc. In fact, it says that the $7,750.00 (plus tax of $465.00 on that amount) was part of the $8,746.78 due at signing (which also includes first monthly lease payment and misc fees), so doesn't look like zero cash down to me.
