Background: Good afternoon everyone. I have recently obtained my dream car since i was 13. 2013 5.0 R-Spec. I have been looking through these forums for forever (2017) and noticed that the aftermarket is so little as many companies are not making anything for them nor are the owners of the sedans are wanting to test the waters. A user “daviderle” was my inspiration to go head and plunge myself in.
Idea: I contacted a manufacturer that may be willing to create a custom steering wheel reminiscent of the BMW G80 M3 led steering wheel. Once I get a second genesis steering wheel ($100) and ship it out I will update on anything that comes up. Price for fabrication ($600) as of yet.
Goal: I want to give the sedan that sports sedan feel as “I” believe its main competitor was the ‘13 C63 AMG and M5. To add to the wheel I am going to wrap the interior trim in carbon add ambient light and so on so forth
TLDR: No LED Steering wheel for the Gen 1 Genesis Sedan. Reaching out to a supplier to modify my existing wheel to that similar of a BMW G80 M3
