  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey future Genesis owners, I'm as informative as it gets when it comes to seeing the smiles of our customers! I will continue to offer the best service and have that deep connected feeling when it comes to their vehicles, after all if you don't like the car how are you going to service it as enthusiastic as their drivers?!?!

Let us treat your Genesis the way Hyundai Motor Corporation has built it, haha ok that was soooo a Toyota line but hey don't blame me for trying!

I will try my best to please you! Including answering any questions members may have about their car as I will soon be full time advisor at this dealership.

Happy Motoring!

well, if your response to "Brakes That Wake the Dead" is any indication, I'll take a pass. Calling me (and others) "paranoid" for complaining about brake noise tells me more about your attitude than anything you said above.
Good luck.

like i said, if it still sounds on the 3rd or 4th braking application then that's a different issue, 1st braking application of the day does not warrant a strong enough issue for repair.

Some customers will always remember that "incident" and will be tieing your neck to ensure that something gets done when really in the end its just how the car was designed for in the first place.

If you were IN my position, how would you feel that you served 10 or so customers a day and majority of them are no fault found because the technician cannot hear any noise during his test drive. Who you going to blame, service or the car? We did our share of the test drive to find if anything is wrong with the customer's brakes, but boy demanding that something must be done when there is no evidence in the first place really just doesn't help us or the customer... its better if the customer understands WHY it does that then maybe we can help serve their needs, sometimes there are problems that occur that our window time frame can't solve (such as a cold start condition), nothing worse than doing some work on the customer's car and finding that the problem is still there (the worse is when they come back a month or so later and reply, "The problem is still there, its truly embarrassing!". Sometimes its easier to diagnose if the customer leaves the car over night for the conditions however, I understand that's a huge inconvenience for the customer if there was no loaner car.

although one forum poster had a good point about the material design of the pads and rotors, some are not easily build rusts while others will build within the hour of parking.

In the end, its best to ask as much information as possible before any work is to be started on the car, and believe me I hound down the problem like a detective, we absolutely want no problems with your car and hope that all it ever needs work is some preventative maintenance.

But on the day you need repairs, we'll be there to ensure its a smooth and speedy quality repair! Its always a bummer when your car breaks down, but hey we're here to smooth out the transition from, "no start" to on the road again as easy as possible!
