I just had my windshield replaced by Safelite. They put in a Fuyao aftermarket, (Carmax paid and would not cover OEM). It is marked with HUD and Acoustic, but the dashboard glare/reflection into the windshield seems really bad to me. I don't see any noticeable distortion or waves in the glass. Now the speaker grills, HUD housing, dashboard stitching all seem to pop into the windshield and its very annoying.
Just curious if anyone else notices the dashboard glare? I drive a lot with polarized sunglasses and haven't had the car long so maybe the old one had it too, but I don't think it did. I'm not sure if this is something that is an issue Safelite will address.
