Dashboard lights on

My drive shaft locked, dashboard lights on, no AC but fan blowing, radio, backup camera and gps gone. Car stalling while driving, speedometer not functioning. Had it diagnosed and was told the rear fuel pump needed replacement. Not so! Hyundai diagnosed my car and didn’t know the reason and wanted to do further diagnostics for $800 more dollars! Ridiculous! I think there’s a defect in these cars because I have read several cases exactly like my vehicle. No solution for the vehicles. Who should I contact about the defective vehicles? 2016 genesis.

I would check the battery and battery cable connections first. The $800 dealer quote for diagnosis is absurd and a ripoff. Take it to a local auto mechanic.

My battery is less than 2 years old and the car starts up fine but I will check the battery.
