Deleting a destination

I try to delete a wrong destination in the navigation list. after several trys I went to the Nav book and I followed the instructions, page 259. But it would not delete the address. The destination list does not appear. It said it can not be selected if the list contains fewer than 3 entries, I have 5. any help would be appreciated.

In my DIS manual for my 2011 4.6 info starts on page 226.
 
I am with Marty on this one. I cannot seem to figure out how to delete an entry or cancel a current route destination.
 
I had the same issue. I finally was able to delete it by going through "settings". Refer to your "Digital AVN System User's Manual, page 3-46.
