Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. Desperate - ECM, IDM, PDM Replacement

My 2010 Genesis Sedan 4.6 will turn over and start then immediately die. Took it to the dealership and they mentioned that it was the PDM... replaced with a used functional unit.... no luck. Then I was told that it is the IDM... replaced with used functional unit.... no luck. Now they tell me that the ECM, PDM, IDM all need to be replaced. Since they are no longer available new. The used items all have to come from the same 4.6 car so they share the same vin# programing. Outside of this option my otherwise relitivley low mileage car becomes a paper weight... Anybody ever hear of this before.... and more importantly.... Can anyone help me?
