So it's just a model designation and doesn't stand for anything in English?

If I am not mistaken.
Its part of the the Vin for those years.
Remember its a Hyundai not a Genesis..


However every Genesis has Hyundai stamped all over the vehicle.

BH is the first generation Genesis Sedan 2009-2014. The DH sedan is the Genesis Sedan and G80 from 2015-2020. BK is Genesis Coupe.
