It looks like Hyundai is taking a page out the Concept Genesis model (2008) for the 2012 model.
The back end of the 2012 model is very similar. Note the reverse lights within the tail lights and the enclosed exhaust pipes... with the original design.

I'm pretty glad that they didn't set with that particular look of the whole car, I more then likely wouldn't have purchased it.

I believe that feed back from focus groups had them going back to the drawing board to re-design that front end.

i prefer the rear end of the concept.
our rear lights are too plain.
