  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Did not realize I bought car with after market mod's

I hadn't considered any kind of warranty issues being a problem. And I definitely didn't consider these add ons being done to hide a problem, geez. I'm feeling pretty slow on the uptake here.

Just to be clear, I seriously doubt that there'd be any warranty issue associated with these particular mods, and while it's possible it was done to hide a problem, that's also not likely. It was probably just a "styled up" Genny and your salesman didn't even notice. I was just pointing out that there are people who don't really like 3rd party add-ons because they can potentially have such issues.

I'd still say you are pretty safe and if you like the look then you got it for free. If you don't like them, ask the dealer to take them off, shouldn't be a problem.
