Hi, I don't know if you're still part of the group, but I want to do the same thing. What year I'd the bumper conversion, is it 2017 or 2018?Hey all,
Wanted to offer this information to everyone looking to do the conversion so that you'll have other buying options available to you.
For everything except the bumper cover itself, I bought these off someone on the Genesis Owners facebook group for $1500 shipping included. The bumper cover itself is $500 new from Hyundai/Genesis, however, your body shop can probably get it for cheaper by some other means as mine did for me. Total parts cost ended up being under $2k as a result. If a bunch of you end up organizing to do a group buy, you can probably get them for the same price or cheaper than I did! I would recommend a guy directly located in South Korea, Albert Hwang, who you could find on the FB groups and perhaps he'll choose to identify himself here. While I didn't buy my parts through him, I've heard good things and would highly recommend him above all other options out there. Him or anyone directly located in South Korea, basically, so there's less people to cut into your total cost before labor
One other thing I'd note that I encountered and hadn't heard or seen when I was initially researching this conversion. The body shop I had perform this work is extremely competent. They are a masters shop that had at least 3 Ferraris in the shop, and plenty of other high-end exotics. I mention this because I think it lends some credibility to one of the concerns they had with the conversion, and that was with the brake ducts. For whatever reason, they had doubts about the stock brake ducts properly venting to the brakes with the sport bumper. As a result, they ended up modifying them a bit to ensure proper flow. Is that to say that you're going to have brake cooling issues without doing the same? I don't know. Just something to be aware of. The sport model brake ducts were not a fit with the rest of the 5.0 (they ordered those after getting further along with the car and ended up having to trash them, so I've not included those part numbers here as a result).
For those with Adaptive Cruise Control, these parts at the top are specific to you. For all else, you'll need to look up the versions without it:

86520b1810 (energy absorber which may/may not be necessary. My car needed it since I'd hit a deer)
Bumper sensors were re-used from my old bumper, so I did not include those. There may be some other electronic components they'll need to recycle from your old bumper as well.

Note that if you really want to finish the Sport look, you'd be looking at replacing the headlights, and the other chrome trim parts which are tinted on the Sport. And of course, the wheels. Those are next for me
Hope this helps!
Thanks in advance
