  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yesterday I received an email from Hyundai Engineers asking me to complete a survey. It was quite detailed and let you break down every problem area you felt your Genesis has, from the paint to mechanical parts on the car and covered each in great detail asking for your written feedback to each noted problem area.

I was just wondering if anyone else had gotten this, first time they have asked me to complete such a detailed survey. Not sure how much they truly pay attention to your replies, but I appreciated the opportunity to participate in it.....Thanks Hyundai :)

I received one several months ago. I hope they pay attention to the problems I noted involving the electronics.

I received one the month I bought my car. But I let it expire :(

I received one also. It was probably about a month after I bought the car.

Everyone who has purchased a Genesis Sedan has received surveys (usually more than one).

Yes, I have also received 3 or 4 other surveys, I was specifically asking if anyone had gotten this particular one from the engineering team.

I have a 2009, and some surveys came from Hyundai directly, and some from 3rd party companies that Hyundai hired to conduct the survey. I don't recall if any specifically said "Hyundai Engineering Team." I had a preference for the ones with dollar bills in the envelope.

But given the sales volume of the Genesis sedan, I doubt they do statistical sampling, and probably send all the surveys to all owners of a particular model year. Not sure why it matters anyway, even if they did pick a random sample to send surveys to.

I got a survey from the Hyundai engineers close to two months after I bought the car.

I've had two Genesi ? 2009 & 2012. Never so much as a query or even answers to my few problems. That's the joy of dealing with Hyundai Canada !
