Different problem (maybe) on "no power"

I'm having a "no power" issue at times with my 2015. It's happened several times now. Battery terminal seems to be clean and tight. Here's the funny thing --when the car goes completely dead --I can slam either of the front doors and all power comes back on... Any thoughts or ideas.
 
You have a loose or broken cable or connection. You may even have a corroded cable. Yes - that seems vague and perhaps even obvious - but that is the answer. Since you are losing power to everything - it is either along the main positive lead between the battery and the primary fuse block or the negative lead from the battery and the frame. Slight chance it could be the main fuse switch (big off/on switch in the block) - but I doubt it.

Next time it happens - don't slam the door or jar the vehicle and get someone out there who knows how to work a multimeter (mechanic, household electrician, car stereo geek, etc). They should be able to help start isolating it.

I guess I don't really understand why you believe this to be a "different" problem. You symptoms are exactly right for a loose battery clamp. I was confused by people saying that it was tight when it was loose, but then one person let out the detail that they were checking the bolt that tightens the clamp, and that was tight while the clamp itself (the thing they should have been checking) was loose.
It's usually the positive clamp/post that gets worn down because it is also attached to the car and if the battery is not properly bolted down it moves and that movement grinds away at the clamp and post. That said, it could also be the negative cable, and it could be the connections at the other ends of the battery cables.
A few had also had issues with the big fuse on the positive clamp assembly developing a hairline crack.

New update on my "no power" situation on my 2015/3.8. I was referred to a fellow about 8 miles away who specialized in auto electronics. Got there and he was about 80-years old, but sharp as a tack. After I explained the problem he headed to the trunk to look things over. Almost immediately, he spotted that the O'Riley premium battery that I replaced about a year ago was about three inches short of being able to connect to the battery "hold down" assembly. As a temporary, he found a piece of wood in his shop, cut it to the right size and wedged it between the bottom of the battery casing and the "lock down" mechanism. It's been about three weeks now since I've had the no electrical power problem (it was happening two or three times a week and I was having to go in the trunk and wiggle wires to get it to come back on.) If you're having the "no electric power" problem you may want to check your battery to see if it is secured with the "lock down." He said my battery was probably moving if I made a quicker than average start or stop. (We'll see how it goes...)
