Digital Key Countdown?

I've used my digital key a few times on my advanced plus GV80. I've noticed there is a" Countdown " for the number of times it can be used “offline”. I'm not exactly sure what that means. Is there a difference between online and offline when using a digital key? Can the countdown be reset in some way?

mine counted down, and left me stranded 20 miles from home. because I placed phone in charged and did not realized I didn't have key fob. That's why the key CARD is so important to have in wallet, no count down involved on CARD.

do the phone digital key setup again that's what I did (word of caution have digital key in wallet or key fob at all times) GOOD LUCK
