DIS knob location ----

Well it is coming up on 1 year with the Genesis, I spent 800 miles in the car this weekend and I must say I have 1 functional complaint.

the DIS knob location is too far back....

If the ash try were moved and the dis knob moved forward 4 inches it would fall underhand when resting your elbow on the arm rest.

Fumbling for it in the dark was a little annoying.....

Love the car but does anyone else find the location of the knob a little to far back?

Location is perfect for me. That's a tuff one to please everyone with because it will depend on how far back you like to have the seat.

location is perfect for me as well, i rest my right arm on the arm rest and i am able to control the DIS knob with comfort and ease. I don't even need to place my thumb on it, i just lightly grip it with my index/middle/ring finger.

I think the position is OK.

In my Audi A6, it was perfect (a bit better arm rest to palm placement).
I also love the audio volume control knob slightly to the right of the DIS in the A6- right at the figer tip at rest.

Gotta give Hyundai kudos- the integration (though 4 years later) is much improved.
