Hey Guys,
I have a 2017 G90 Ultimate for about 3 months now. For my first valet service appointment, I had a 2018 G90 Premium dropped off to me. I noticed a couple minor upgrades in the DIS (Driver Information System) and the Infotainment System that you all may not have noticed. See below:
1. The Blue Link button on the rearview mirror has a different logo as well as on the Infotainment system. It's renamed, can't remember what it is now...
2. A tiny Genesis logo was added to the Analog clock
3. In Lane Keep Mode, if you keep your hand off the wheel for too long, it beeps a single tone and notifies you go grab the steering wheel...
For #3, my 2017 G90 starts beeping rapidly and is quiet annoying. On very straight roads where I don't have to make much steering adjustments to stay in the lane, the system thinks I'm not holding the wheel and starts beeping. Now for my question: Is there a way for the DIS to be updated on the 2017's to be the same as the 2018 and therefore behave the same way in Lane Keep Assist?
Thanks,
Paul
