  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Is there a way to disable the seat belt beeping that continually repeats if you do not fasten your seat belt? I know some makes/models of vehicles have a series of steps you can go through to turn off the beeping, and am wondering if the Genesis allows that to be done as well.

The simplest way to disable it would be to buckle up ;)

Yeah just buckle up... This car is safe but you should still always wear a seat belt.

I hear the steering wheel and the dash could be quite a treat when you slam on the brakes ;)

so did you ever get this question answered? because I would love to turn that beeping off in my coupe!!

...and YES, I do wear my seatbelt:p (most of the time) but when I'm making a quick run to the store or whatever, it would be nice not to have the car beeping at me the whole way...

Their was a service screen on my Phaeton that allowed selection of all the audible warnings. I am sure there is such a scree for the Genesis, Just have to research to find it. Probably on of those combination like accessing the Map version. Grip
