  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I got a call from my dealer last week wondering if I was still interested in a '14 Genney. I had been in looking and asking as I am looking at getting rid of my '12 Rspec after the accident.

Well he called to tell me that they were discounting the '14's 10 grand for their current inventory. That's a major discount. Wonder if other dealers are doing that to move out the '14's and make room for the '15's.

I got an email today from Hyundai advertising "$2,500 Retail Bonus Cash." Dealer I bought my current Sonata from is still showing the same prices as last week on his remaining 2014's - just factoring in the $2,500 rebate to his final price.

Still waiting for his website - or any other dealer's website - to show 2015s.

Yes, other dealers are doing that because HMA has provided the dealers with a substantial rebate to help move out their 13/14 inventory, so that dealers will order more 2015 Genesis units. Rumor is that HMA is offering up an additional $5K to dealers as incentive, on top of other existing deals, so buyers should be able to negotiate at least $10K off MSRP on a 13/14 Tech Package Genesis (and apparently an Equus also). Discounts on Base Trim might be lower.

If you are seriously interested in a 2014, don't pay any attention to prices listed on the internet. Go to a dealer and you should be able to negotiate $10K off MSRP on a 2014.
