Display default setting

Is there a way to make the climate screen the default for the AVN (center) display?

I have 2 cell phones which I rarely use - and never in a car. And the NAV system is a nice toy.

But, in an area with wild temp. fluctuations, I would really like to set the rather elaborate climate screen as a default presentation.

Any ideas?

For a $ 50K car, it's got to do better.

I can't even get rid of that stupid warning screen.

But - it does go fast.

It doesn't help matters much that on the display between the speedo and tach, when you're on XM, all it has is the channel number. C'mon guys; at least give me a song title and artist. They could also show that for other media types. Seems like an opportunity missed.

This display business is really my only complaint so far. Esp. the goofy warning which I have never read - and can't get rid of.

Computer browsers let you set just about any page on the internet as a home page. Nice if the Genesis would let you set one AVN page as a "home page".
