Hey,
When removing the air intake manifold to replace the back two spark plugs, what type of gasket do you need to replace? I was talking with a mechanic and he said that you can not use the old gasket when putting it back together. Is this link below the correct gask?

28411-3L100 - Manifold Gasket - 2017-2021 Hyundai | Joseph Airport Hyundai

or is it

29215-3L100 - Intake Case Gasket - 2017-2021 Hyundai | Joseph Airport Hyundai

He said the plenum gask needs replacement? Is the link above correct?

Thanks

I would recommend a new gasket if you remove the air intake manifold. A new gasket is minimal cost to reduce chance of having to take air intake manifold off again. I've used Genuine Hyundai Genesis Parts and Accessories at HyundaiPartsDeal for parts. Mostly for my 2011 Hyundai Genesis 3.8. My new 2018 G80 Sport hasn't needed any replacement parts yet. But ....

I changed the plugs on my 2018 G80 Sport 3.3T a few months ago. It is not necessary to remove the air intake manifold. The 2 rear passenger side plugs a a bugger, but with time and right tools it can be done.

I posted notes on my plug change in this forum here.

The website says it will fit the 2018 G80 Sport 3.3T.
I can't confirm as I did not remove the intake for my plug change.
Yeah that makes sense and I am not sure either. Idk if this is the upper plenum gasket

The plugs can be changed without removing the manifold, I've done it twice. center one on the right is tight but can be done.
