  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know how to adjust the high beam level on 2009 sedan?

Hi,
I just replaced the high beam bulbs with Philips H7 VisionPlus Bulbs.
The problem is the beam level is as low as my HID head lights. It won't light up any further. I made sure they seated properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Do the low beams still autolevel or is that mechanism not working? You can't aim the high beams independently from the low beams.

If you angle the housing so the high beams reach further out, your low beams will also be aimed higher up.

There are little adjustment screws right next to each headlight. You'll see them when you open the hood.
Well, you won't see the screw itself, it's down in the headlight but you'll see the hole where you stick a Philip's screwdriver to turn it and adjust the light up or down. The adjustment hole has a little directional arrow and a +/- sign next to it.

You'll need a really long, thin screw driver.
Also be careful, the adjustment screws are nylon or something so you can easily strip them if you go too hard.
