  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My bought her G70 with 3500 miles on it. Does the complimentary Maintenace agreement transfer to her as a new owner of the car? How do we verify she should receive it.? She is at a dealer getting service today. They told she would need to pay for it. Thoughts?

If it was CPO, then it might. Otherwise neither that nor the 100K/10 powertrain warranty transfers.

Not Genesis but the same corporate parent

Is Hyundai complimentary maintenance transferable?

Commercial, Certified Pre-Owned, used, and fleet vehicles are excluded, but professional use, i.e., realtor or outside sales, is allowed. Complimentary maintenance is not transferable; available to original owner/first retail customers only (except it can be transferred from spouse to spouse).

Sales manager at my selling dealer said the maintenance and 10 year warranty do not transfer to a second owner unless special family situation such as wedding gift, inherited, and those require documentation and approval from Genesis.

Are you considered the same owner if you buy your auto at lease end?
