I have a 2013 equus. I get a notification that the left rear door is open when it is not, this causes the overhead lights to come on and run down the battery and trigger the alarm if I have set it. I have asked the dealership to disconnect or remove the sensor in the door. As you might guess they claim they cannot replicate the problem. “It doesn’t do it while it’s here.” Every time I leave the car for more than a few minutes I have to pull the main fuse or I will come back to a dead battery. Once when I went to pickup the car at the dealership the alarm was going off and the rep said “Oh, that’s because I accidentally hit one of the buttons on the key fob.” He erefused to look at the indicator on the dash that indicated the door was open when it wasn’t.
Any suggestions?
Otherwise this car runs like new, it has less than 15,000 miles on it.
