  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All,

Searched for this, and didn't see anything related, so hoping someone has a thought.

Just bought a super clean 2015 5.0 Ultimate with 19k miles, and man, the wife is loving it. I have a 2011 4.6 (170K) which she loved, so we finally moved her from a Lincoln MKS to this, and I'm not sure I will ever get to drive it again, lol.

The only complaint is when she unlocks the car using the button on the door. Everything lights up as expected, except the door panel buttons (window switches, lock switches, etc). They do light up fine if she used the key fob to unlock it. Its not a huge issue, but she had unlocked the driver's door the other day, and then went to hit the unlock button on the door and couldn't see the button as it wasn't illuminated. And I know, she should have hit the button twice... But, if she uses the fob, the door panel buttons are illuminated.

Any thoughts here? Is there a hidden setting somewhere I am missing?
