  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has the G70 Doors autolock after specific time if leaved the car unlock?
I have the impression three days ago i forgot to lock the doors after leaving the car and when returned today found it unlock. Do we have this feature to lock automatically after period of time? I looked in owner manual and no mention about this only to unlock/lock automatically but when using fob or while driving.

AFAIK, no it doesn't.
It might relock the doors if you unlock them, but then don't open any doors/trunk within a few minutes. My Cadenza does this.
Cadillac and probably some other brands do have the feature of locking the doors after you walk away.

Whenever I'm not sure I just sent a lock command from the app.

I see. Thx. I had Lexus in the pass and had the feature. It is a risk. i meant because like said i found it unlocked after 3 days. i never thought to open the app to check Car status at all and since i had the impression i locked it. That's the issue because i know if an specific time you believe you forgot, you can check and action accordingly but that saying then put you in a situation to be checking the app every time you left the car unattended because the doubt (in case people normally won't pay attention when leaving the car). Same token i did noticed after i used it today, i locked the doors for sure and then checked via the app when inside the house in status option and showed me Engine OFF, Climate OFF but Doors unlocked ( i knew i looked them) with the time and date of the status exactly when i leaved the car. I had to refresh the status option and then showed Doors looked.
Maybe someone can confirm this? After car use, turn off the Engine, locks the doors and then open the app, click on Car status and without refreshing Car status, confirm if doors are matching with the car.

then open the app, click on Car status and without refreshing
Looks you have already figured it out. You need to press refresh. Otherwise what you see on the screen is invalid.

Well. if somebody else confirm happening the same like me, is good to know that no necessarily opening the app and checking the Car Status only Engine and Climate info will be accurate but no the doors and refresh required to get accurate info just for the doors. Weird, why Engine and Climate but no Doors. Interesting.
