An interesting, although not totally accurate, proposition.
Can you elaborate on the inaccuracies? It's an interesting idea and if you wanted to drive one around as an Uber or Lyft driver I can see getting 5 stars and tips all the time.An interesting, although not totally accurate, proposition.

Claims of the remaining warranty are overstated by DeMauro near the start His fault. The 10/100,000 warranty is for the powertrain. He corrects his misstatement near the end. Buying an older Equus without a warranty for other non-power train repairs would be risky, IMO.
By the way, the ‘12 Equus does not stream BT audio. Bad blooper on Hyundai’s part.
Yeah I'm not sure why they did not have BT audio streaming in these years. My roommate had a 2012 Genesis Coupe and that had BT audio streaming. I was able to solve the issue by buying this adapter. It just stays plugged in at all times in the center console and my phone automatically connects to it when the car turns on so it's good to go.
Yeah, Doug (is it me or does he look, talk and act like Jay Leno's love child?) shoots from the hip a lot and often misses.
I don't know enough about the Equus to comment on inaccuracies in this video, but in his review of the 2nd generation 2019 Kia K900, DD got the engine choices totally wrong (the '19 is only available with the 3.3 TT) and then blamed it on C&D and Motor Trend in the comments (those articles were talking about the 1st generation).
BTW, the '19 K900 is a very nice car, make sure to check it out. I would have one in my garage if Kia had a halfway decent lease program.
You'd think someone who makes a good living from posting YouTube videos would get his facts straight and accept blame when he screws up.
IMO, Alex on Autos is hands down the best car reviewer on YouTube, but he hasn't done a review of the Equus AFAIK.
