  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Guys,

from some time my front driver seat get lose.
If you are driving and make a sharp turn left or right, the driver seat seems to move a bit, you can feel it with your "tail".
Does someone has this?

Yes, I have had the same. Hyundai dealership placed some e-clips onto the seat mechanism, but that did not seem to fix it entirely. it took me two return visits (total of 3) for them to repair it. Here is the thing...they could not replicate the problem. So I asked the size and weight of the tech that performed the test drive. He was a little guy. I am 6'1" and 250 lbs. The got a "bigger" guy to test drive, he felt it immediately, and fixed it. Good now. Total charge for repairs was maybe $50.

That's right. When I asked the service manager what they did differently to fix the seat he sort of implied that maybe it was not done correctly the first time. They had the parts and took care of it. They are a good service department, but I sometimes have to really explain my issues to them. They do not work on many Gennys. Tons of Subarus and Audis, but the Gennys are more rare in my neck of the woods.

Mine has that tiny bit of side-to-side play in it when taking turns. I have decide that knowing that it will not get worse (along with knowing why it is doing it), I don't feel any need to get it fixed. One day, I might buy a bag of those e-clips and do it myself.
