  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I dislike our daytime running lights and would like only the eyebrow lights to be displayed during the daytime. I notice new Audi, Lexus, Jeep Grand Cherokee and most high end cars have but the eyebrow lights on during the daytime. We have very nice eyebrow lights, wish there was a way to turn off the amber lights. Does anyone know of a way to kill the ambers?

What I do is set the light switch to ON.In this case the daytime lights are off while the eyebrows and the HID projectors are on. A drawback to this is AFLS does not work in any other mode than Auto.

Not possible, what you seek. Many, many threads on the same question.

The eyebrow lights are not bright enough to be useful as DRLs. Have a look at them in the daytime. By the way, your DRL lights are not Amber, they are warm white. Your turn signals are Amber.

The lighting experts at Hyundai must take stupid pills when it comes to designing daytime running lights. My '14 Santa Fe Sport came without any DRLs.
