  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I’ve done a bunch of searches to try and find a reliable solution to disabling the DRL’s on my 2013 Genesis R-Spec 5.0 that can be done by your average car guy at home. The closest I’ve found is the post of BStarr 119 way back on Nov. 12, 2014. In that post, he attached a diagram of his DRL MOD which bypassed the DRL’s with the use of a relay (see attached). Has anyone else done this since then? If so, could you please share how you did it (what parts to buy, where you bought it and how you hooked it all up). I’ve gone to Youtube and there’s no how-to videos there for disabling the DRL’s on our cars. For sure, it won’t be just me who would benefit and be very grateful but a lot of other 1st Gen owners out there who want to do the same thing. Thanks!
