  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys,

got a stupid question here...I've got the dvd changer. so how can I play DVD movies? I inserted the disc, where is the PLAY button? or does this play automatically? Is there a special way to do play the video. I know it needs to be in Park mode.
When I insert the dvd it says not a valid format or unknown.

Your signature says you have No Genesis Yet!
But if you do you should give us more details on what year and model you have.

My guess it is probably the same as my 2011 4.6 with tech package.
I have three disks loaded in the changer and when I switch to DVD mode the player brings menu of the disk that is currently loaded. From there it is all on the screen and you need to use that big (DIS) knob.

What disk did you put in? Is it commercial DVD or home made burned disk?
