Easiest way to convert 2015 sedan DRLs from amber turn signals to LED accent lights?

So title. What's the easiest way to get a 2015 sedans DRLs US model to work exactly like the 2016 US models?

Maybe it would be possible to program the computer to simply send 5.3 volts to the LEDs in DRL mode? This wouldn’t make them bright but would at least run the LEDs during DRL mode. Would this be reprogramming the BCM or IPGM?

There's no easy plug and play but someone has made a DIY for what you want. It's pretty involved

So there’s no way to reprogram the computer? I mean I don’t even want the bright drls I just want the parking lights to be on in DRL mode. So I can’t just reprogram the computer? This is to prevent the amber bulbs from burning out.

They switched it after 2016 I believe you need the updated headlights idk why they use the turn signal for the drl. The newer lights got rid of them completely and used the parking lights. The ecu hasnt been cracked like the other manufacturers. Heres the DIY LINK for the bright drls. Again there's little to no aftermarket on these cars so no easy plug and play to do anything but if your brave enough that DIY is well written out. Its a bit of work.

It's much easier to use LEDs in the turn signals - you might have to repin a few wires in a connector but generally it works fine and you dont have to rewire a lot of other wiring
