  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Not sure why this was required, but all I know is that after the car went in for service this past Friday, the proximity sensor is no longer working (i.e. mirrors do not extend automatically and trunk no longer opens hands free). Calling dealership on Monday to find out what happened and get this fixed. In the meantime, I don't see this as a specific recall for Genesis, but here is a similar recall procedure for Kia.

In the meantime, did you check to see that it was not disabled in the settings?

Good point. Wife is out with the car tonight, I'll verify when she gets home. I didn't even think of that and they did have to disconnect the battery, so quite possible
