I have recently completed repairs on my ‘09 3.8 sedan. The last repair was replacing the forward O2 sensor on bank 2 (driver’s side).
Now that I’ve been able to clear any and all faults associated with the engine check light it was ready for state inspection.....
However, the inspector stated I had three emissions related failures and couldn’t do anything until the “relays” reset themselves. Further, he stated that driving the car was the only way get the relays reset...
3 weeks and 350 miles later and I took it back to check and I still fail the EGR System.
Has anyone ever experienced this? If so is he giving me accurate information? If not any ideas on what else I can do?
I bought the car last month...inspection expired this past February.
thanks for any information!
