Electrical Gremlin

My car is killing me softly! Since I have had it, My Ipod freezes, my trunk will not open with the door switch or key fob, the other day the cruise control would not hold initial set speed. It took a while for it to work. The car left me stranded. it was driving fine then the check engine light came on, power was reduced drastically, car was knocking worst than a diesel and the temp. gauge went from normal to high and just that quick back to cold and stayed there. two weeks at the dealer and come to find out it was two knock sensors that went bad. and now my driver side power seat just quit . The worst is that Hyundai of Puerto Rico is ill equipped to fix my car and all parts for the car have to be ordered. Nothing is ever in stock. Has anyone had this much electrical problems or do i have a lemon?

The Valet button may be pushed in the glove compartment. Pushing this button prevents a valet (or you) from opening the trunk. You push the button, lock the glove compartment and take the key out of the key holder (the thingy with the buttons) put the key in your pocket and the valet can't get in the trunk.

I read in some other thread here that one cure for electrical Gremlins was to check all the fuses and ensure they are all well inserted and tight.
