Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Hi, so I recently purchased a 2010 hyundai genesis sedan 4.8 from a private own with 110,000 miles on it. After driving it for a few weeks I noticed it didn't switch out of 3rd gear so I took It to a transmission specialist and had the solenoids replaced and transmission fluid replaced and some little sensor inside the transmission replaced. After 4 or 5 miles it started too do the same thing so then I replaced the alternator and wiring harness and not only does it still do the same but when I try and shut off the car it stays in the "on" position. So far I've thrown 2600 into it just to have a added problem. Any idea what it could be before I throw more money away trying too fix it???
