Engine Issues with G70 2022 Launch Edition (and more)

Hi folks!
My g70 3.3t launch edition has the check engine on for a few weeks now. The engine noise when I accelerate is very different. Sounds like a beat up Malibu! When I go on reverse, the engine will sometimes do some weird noise as if it wanted to stall. The seat bolsters won't activate when entering Sports mode neither (option is On in the menus). Brought it in last week but the techs have no clue what's going on and tell me it's normal. Fuel consumption is now through the roof (17-18 L / 100km). I'm based in Canada. Any advice on how to proceed? Am I stuck driving a car with shitty engine noise for the next few years (and a check engine light)? Feels bad.

Can you get the check engine light code checked and let us know what it is? Here in the states auto zone or NAPA auto parts will do a code read for free

The Check engine light is yelllow/orange. I'll contact the genesis garage to inquire about this code. Thanks buddy i will update when I have it!!

Are there any other dealers nearby? I'm sorry but a check-engine light, increased fuel consumption, along with audible differences between stock vehicles on the lot should be a hint and half for the techs that something could be majorly @*!#ed up.

the dealer should be able to diagnose it if there is an active check engine code. And they should be able to tell you what the codes are and what they mean.

+3. OP - take it in to the dealer and leave it with them to diagnose and repair. Get a loaner while they have it. Obviously there’s some problem that they need to resolve. Your issues are not routine for a new G70, but the steps to diagnose and repair are.
